When you stay with a local family, you can put what you’ve learned to use. When you live in a Chinese home, you’ll hear the language every day, which will help you learn even when you’re not trying. You’ll be exposed to real-life situations, slang, and accents that you might not hear in your Chinese class. This will give you a complete understanding of how people talk in the real world. If you want to get the most out of your efforts, this is the best way to do it.

Living with a Chinese family also gives you a chance to learn about parts of Chinese culture that you might not learn from other foreigners. Your host family will be happy to show you how they live through food, activities, and conversation. This will give you a chance to see a side of China that not many foreigners get to see.

You’ll never be alone with a homestay unless you want to be. Your host family will always be there to make sure you have fun and feel at home. Even though you probably won’t miss home because you’ll be having so much fun, you’ll always be able to find a friendly face. It’s like having a home when you’re not at home.

It’s not every day that you get to live with another Chinese family over time. Take advantage of this one-of-a-kind chance to fully experience China, improve your Chinese, and gain new skills and experience that will make you stand out to schools and employers in the future.
