The importance of economic growth in China is underestimated by businesses and industries. We have too little knowledge about this. Understanding what consequences increased competition and acquisitions from the Chinese mean for our competitiveness, profits and welfare models is crucial for business leaders to succeed. The need for strengthened cultural understanding of China is highlighted, not least what this means in relation to the need for adjustment, adaptation and increased internationalization.
